She’s about 24 inches long (25th percentile) and approaching 12 pounds (5th percentile) (we'll get official numbers at her 4 month check-up on Friday)…she’s still a little peanut and finally on the growth chart for weight! We recently moved her out of her bassinet and into her pack-n-play last week. She’s still in our room and we’re planning to move her into her nursery and crib in the next week or so (as soon as Eric finishes building the crib).
She’s still a great sleeper,
sleeping at least 8-9 hours straight at night.
She’s a little wiggle worm and we often find her lying sideways in the
mornings with her arms out of the swaddle.
She never cries in the morning, instead she just “talks” when she’s
awake until we go to her crib. As soon
as she sees us, her face lights up with a big smile. It’s the best way to start the day.
She drools like crazy and loves chewing on her toys. Anything that touches her hands instantly goes to her mouth. She has found her hands and loves to look at them and move them around. She also recently found her feet, but can’t quite get them to her mouth yet…it’s only a matter of time though.
She’s not rolling over yet, but is so close. If she could only figure out how to move her arm out from underneath her, she would have it mastered. She’s learned how to kick her legs and loves kicking like crazy, especially during bath time.
It’s been almost one year since we found out we were pregnant and this new and amazing journey began. Oh, how our lives have changed in the last year!
