Sqweet me = excuse me
Hot Doctor = helicopter
Gogurt = yogurt
Whose that = what's that?
Buena = banana
Dismeegee = Despicable Me
Wuv you = love you
You started out pronouncing a lot of words that start with C with a P (Pody [Cody], pissmas tree [Christmas tree]), but seem to have your "C" down now. You have changed from saying "Daycyn" to "Graecyn". You have a new, very fake laugh that is pretty funny - I think you picked it up from one of the characters in the Despicable Me 3 movie, but it sounds a bit like PeeWee Herman. You also love to answer questions with, “ummm....” (“Cody, what do you want for breakfast?....ummm....muffins).
You hate bugs and will usually freak out if you spot one. But then get obsessed with wanting to see the bug. To get you to listen, we have you turn on your "listening ears". To do so, you put your hands on your ears and turn them while clicking your tongue to turn them on...it's pretty cute.
Your nicknames are Buster (or Buster Brown), Codster, and Codymonster. You are obsessed with wearing jammies and would wear them all day every day if we would let you.
You love to give hugs and kisses and often when we're having a hard time getting you to put something away before bed, we just have to tell you to give it a hug and a kiss which you quickly do and then you can put it away. You like to hold our face in your little hands and kiss each of our cheeks.
You are incredibly independent and want to do everything yourself. You love to dance and have some pretty sweet moves! Your favorite movies to watch are Cars (1, 2, or 3), Despicable Me 3, Curious George Christmas, and anything about tractors or excavators. It seems as though your favorite color is pink (or maybe it's just because Graecyn has so much pick stuff around it's all you see) and you love to wear her purses, sunglasses, and Mama's shoes.
You can be pretty demanding, especially to me, and often if you want something from me and I'm walking away from you, you'll yell at me in your deep voice, "Mama, come here...right now!" It's sometimes hard to keep a straight face when you do this! Sometimes you'll try to cover it up by yelling "Monster Truck"! (which is something you and Daddy do when playing).
You're such a little guy, weighing around 26 lbs (about what Graecyn weighed at this age). I'm not sure how tall you are, but you are definitely a few inches shorter than Graecyn was at this age. You are such a busy body, never sitting still for long. You love to play with cars, trucks, tractors and usually prefer to lay down on the floor and watch their wheels move.
You're a great napper (sleeping around 1 1/2 hours at daycare and usually 2+ hours at home on the weekends) and are a great eater, but usually are too busy to sit down to eat. Daddy and I have started letting you play during supper as long as you come back to the table for bites. You are starting to show some interest in potty training and have even pee peed on the potty a few times. You really want to be able to go to the "big boy" room (3 year olds) at day care, so I'm trying to use that to entice you to potty train.
You changed daycares in January (your old daycare closed) and it has been a really good experience so far. You are learning so much! You can spell your name, know your ABC's, can count to 25, are learning new songs all the time, and have made lots of new friends.
We love you buster brown!!!
