Tooth #4 and Tulip Twinkle

Your second top middle tooth was somewhat loose for a long time, but over the weekend, became very loose after eating an ice cream cone.  All week you wiggled it over and over with your tongue, but the tooth would not come out (it was hanging by a thread).

On the last day of school before spring break, you were playing with your friends at recess, taking turns spinning on the green spinner on the playground.  It was jammie day at school that day, so you were wearing your sleeping mask over your eyes while spinning so you couldn't see; suddenly, you felt something hit your mouth.  Turns out, your friend Nora had her hand out and accidentally hit your mouth while you were spinning around.  Your tooth popped out and fell into the playground mulch.  You didn't even realize it had happened until you stuck your tongue to your tooth and realized it wasn't there any more!  You said you were a little upset at first because you didn't know where the tooth was, but your friends all helped you find it.

You can't stop sticking your tongue in your big front gap now.  Your other front tooth fell out months ago and the new tooth has not yet come in (the dentist says it's there, just up really high and taking its time to come down).  We can see the new tooth under the gum for the one you just lost, so hopefully you're not toothless for too long (it sure makes it hard for you to eat and talk with no front teeth!).

You wrote a note to the tooth fairy and put it on your nightstand and put your tooth in your tooth pillow hanging from your headboard.

Your note said, "Hi Tooth Fairy.  I lost my tooth! Someone accidentally knocked it out.  It feels really weird.  What's your name? Mine is Graecyn.  Bye."  Then you put a bunch of puppy stickers on it and drew a picture of your tooth pillow and added "This is my tooth pillow, not the sleeping mask" (because the pillow was hanging up with all of your sleeping masks).

When you woke up the next morning, you immediately ran downstairs to get me so that I could look with you to see if the tooth fairy had come.  Sure enough the tooth fairy came in the night, took your tooth and left a dollar (that she rolled up and taped shut with some of your washi tape!...she left a few glitter sprinkles on it too).

The tooth fairy did write down her name on the paper with the pen you left out for her.  Her name is Tulip Twinkle.

You were pretty excited!!
